Our cutting boards and tools get their natural look and texture from our exclusive material called Richlite, a paper composite which is non-porous, dishwasher safe, durable and easy on knives. It has been used in commercial kitchens and restaurants for over 75 years and meets the highest standards of cooks and chefs worldwide.

The Epicurean Gourmet Series cutting boards feature a thicker profile board - 3/8" thick. Each cutting board in the Gourmet Series features a "juice groove" on one side to capture liquids and keep countertops clean, and a flat side when the juice groove isn't needed. The multi-functional surface won't dull knives; is heat-resistant to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which means hot pans can be placed on it without leaving a brown ring; requires no oiling; and is dishwasher-safe. Both the top and bottom surfaces may be used for cutting meat, chopping onions, slicing bread, and more - the natural finish will darken with use. This series is available in 4 sizes and 3 color combinations.

The 17.5-inch x 13-inch cutting board in nutmeg with natural accent color is a dual-sided cutting surface made in the USA from Richlite paper composite material. This natural material is lightweight, durable, non-porous, knife-friendly and easy to maintain. It is temperature resistant to 350 degrees Fahrenheit/175 degrees Celsius, protecting the countertop and not absorbing odors or harboring bacteria. The integrated juice groove feature on one side captures liquids, while the reverse flat side is for food preparation. The built-in hole makes it easy to grab, use and store.
